1. A method comprising:
- browsing a collection of files stored on a second computing device via a first computing device based on thumbnail images that represent corresponding files of the collection of files and that were received by the first computing device from the second computing device and were scaled, prior to being received, in size and quality by the second computing device in accordance with a display of the first computing device;
selecting a file from the browsed collection of files;
remotely controlling, in real-time by the first computing device, a presentation of the selected file by a second computing device, wherein the remotely controlled presentation of the selected file by the second computing device is displayed by a remote third device with a display that is not proximate the presenting second computing device and that is also not proximate the first computing device.
