1. A method of securing a liquid container in fluid communication with a therapeutic fluid delivery system, the method comprising:
- providing a support device comprising a receptacle configured to receive the liquid container;
providing a cartridge coupled to the support device, wherein;
the cartridge is configured to engage the therapeutic fluid delivery system, andthe cartridge comprises a piercing device in fluid communication with a flexible conduit;
engaging the piercing device with the support device so that the piercing device extends into the receptacle;
placing the liquid container in the receptacle of the support device;
piercing the liquid container with the piercing device; and
engaging the flexible conduit of the cartridge with an actuator carried by the therapeutic fluid delivery system, the flexible conduit being positioned between the actuator and the cartridge.
