12. A method of deploying a prosthetic heart valve at a target site, the prosthetic heart valve including a collapsible and expandable stent, a collapsible and expandable valve assembly disposed within the stent, and a collapsible and expandable frame formed of braided wires, the frame having a compliant body portion and a lumen extending through the body portion for receiving the stent and the valve assembly, the method comprising:
-
deploying the prosthetic heart valve via a delivery device at the target site in a collapsed configuration and allowing the prosthetic heart valve to expand at the target site, the prosthetic heart valve being coupled to the delivery device; forming an indented region at selected locations in the body portion by pressing the body portion against the native valve annulus; repositioning the prosthetic heart valve at the target site using the delivery device; and decoupling the prosthetic heart valve from the delivery device after evaluating functionality of the prosthetic heart valve. - View Dependent Claims (13, 14, 15)
