Abstract

Disclosed herein is an information processing apparatus including: operation accepting means for accept an operation input; image storing means for storing a plurality of images; management information storing means for storing management information corresponding to the plurality of images stored in the image storing means; image drawing means for drawing, in a display area including at least an image display area, at least one of images stored in the image storing means onto the image display area in a predetermined sequence; and controlling means for, when an operation input commanding selection of an image included in the image display area has been accepted by the operation accepting means, controlling recording of the selection of the image to management information stored in the management information storing means in correspondence with the image.

Claims

1. An information processing apparatus comprising:

circuitry configured to

store a plurality of images;

store a plurality of reduced size images corresponding to each of the plurality of images;

control displaying, in a first display area, at least one of the plurality of images;

control displaying, in a second display area, the plurality of reduced size images;

receive at least one user input increasing or reducing a size of the second display area;

increase or reduce the number of the plurality of the reduced size images displayed in the second display area corresponding to the increased or the reduced size of the second display area;

adjust a size of the first display area corresponding to the increased or the reduced the size of the second display are; and

increase or reduce a size of at least one of the plurality of images displayed in the first display area corresponding to the adjusted size of the first display area.

2. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein

the circuitry is configured to control displaying an operation section, provided at a portion of the second display area adjacent to the first display area, to increase or reduce the size of the second display area.

3. The information processing apparatus according to claim 2, wherein

when the operation portion is operated by the user input so as to increase or reduce the size of the second display area, the circuitry is configured to control displaying the plurality of the reduced size images so as to increase or reduce the number of the reduced size images by increments corresponding to the increased or reduced size of the second display area.

4. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein

the circuitry is configured to control displaying, in the first display area, at least one of the plurality of images corresponding to at least one of the plurality of the reduced size images displayed in the second display area.

5. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein

when at least one of the plurality of the reduced size images is dragged from the second display area to the first display area and is dropped into the first display area, the circuitry is configured to change displaying a new image corresponding to the dragged and dropped reduced size image.

6. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein

when at least one of the plurality of the images displayed in the first display area is dragged from the first display area to the second display area and is dropped into the second display area, the circuitry is configured to change displaying a new reduced size image corresponding to the dragged and dropped image.

7. A method performed by an information processing apparatus, the method comprising:

storing a plurality of images;

storing a plurality of reduced size images corresponding to each of the plurality of images;

controlling displaying, in a first display area, at least one of the plurality of images;

controlling displaying, in a second display area, the plurality of reduced size images;

receiving at least one user input increasing or reducing a size of the second display area;

increasing or reducing the number of the plurality of the reduced size images displayed in the second display area corresponding to the increased or the reduced size of the second display area;

adjusting a size of the first display area corresponding to the increased or the reduced the size of the second display are; and

increasing or reducing a size of at least one of the plurality of images displayed in the first display area corresponding to the adjusted size of the first display area.

8. The method according to claim 7, further comprising:

controlling displaying an operation section, provided at a portion of the second display area adjacent to the first display area, to increase or reduce the size of the second display area.

9. The method according to claim 7, further comprising:

controlling displaying, in the first display area, at least one of the plurality of images corresponding to at least one of the plurality of the reduced size images displayed in the second display area.

10. The method according to claim 7, further comprising:

when at least one of the plurality of the reduced size images is dragged from the second display area to the first display area and is dropped into the first display area, controlling displaying a new image corresponding to the dragged and dropped reduced size image.

11. The method according to claim 7, further comprising:

when at least one of the plurality of the images displayed in the first display area is dragged from the first display area to the second display area and is dropped into the second display area, controlling displaying a new reduced size image corresponding to the dragged and dropped image.

12. The method according to claim 7, further comprising

when the operation portion is operated by the user input so as to increase or reduce the size of the second display area, controlling displaying the plurality of the reduced size images so as to increase or reduce the number of the reduced size images by increments corresponding to the increased or reduced size of the second display area.

13. A non-transitory computer-readable medium including computer-program instructions, which when executed by an information processing apparatus, cause the information processing apparatus to:

store a plurality of images;

store a plurality of reduced size images corresponding to each of the plurality of images;

control displaying, in a first display area, at least one of the plurality of images;

control displaying, in a second display area, the plurality of reduced size images;

receive at least one user input increasing or reducing a size of the second display area;

increase or reduce the number of the plurality of the reduced size images displayed in the second display area corresponding to the increased or the reduced size of the second display area;

adjust a size of the first display area corresponding to the increased or the reduced the size of the second display are; and

increase or reduce a size of at least one of the plurality of images displayed in the first display area corresponding to the adjusted size of the first display area.

14. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 13, the computer-program instructions further causing the information processing apparatus to:

control displaying an operation section, provided at a portion of the second display area adjacent to the first display area, to increase or reduce the size of the second display area.

15. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 14, the computer-program instructions further causing the information processing apparatus to:

when the operation portion is operated by the user input so as to increase or reduce the size of the second display area, control displaying the plurality of the reduced size images so as to increase or reduce the number of the reduced size images by increments corresponding to the increased or reduced size of the second display area.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 13, the computer-program instructions further causing the information processing apparatus to:

control displaying, in the first display area, at least one of the plurality of images corresponding to at least one of the plurality of the reduced size images displayed in the second display area.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 13, the computer-program instructions further causing the information processing apparatus to:

when at least one of the plurality of the reduced size images is dragged from the second display area to the first display area and is dropped into the first display area, control displaying a new image corresponding to the dragged and dropped reduced size image.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 13, the computer-program instructions further causing the information processing apparatus to:

when at least one of the plurality of the images displayed in the first display area is dragged from the first display area to the second display area and is dropped into the second display area, control displaying a new reduced size image corresponding to the dragged and dropped image.
