- a selection unit configured to select an image blurring correction mode for execution from amongst the plurality of image blurring correction modes; and
a display control unit configured to display, on a display screen, a display item corresponding to the image blurring correction mode selected by said selection unit while said image capturing apparatus is operating in an image capturing mode, wherein the selection unit is configured to automatically select an image blurring correction mode from amongst the plurality of image blurring correction modes for execution, in accordance with an image capturing situation.
