- a reusable portion comprising an electronic circuit, the electronic circuit comprising,a high pass filter,an amplifier,a processor configured to analyze analog sensor data to produce patient condition data, wherein the high pass filter is positioned before the amplifier and the amplifier is positioned before the processor in the electronic circuit, and wherein the processor is configured to identify a lethal arrhythmia, anda transmitter configured to transmit the patient condition data to a base station in real-time, wherein the patient condition data indicates occurrence of a lethal arrhythmia; and
a disposable portion removably connectable to the reusable portion, the disposable portion comprising,a power source, whereby power from the power source is supplied to the electronic circuit upon connection of the disposable portion to the reusable portion,a physiological sensor connected to the disposable portion, whereby the physiological sensor is electrically connected to the electronic circuit when the disposable portion is connected to the reusable portion, andan electronic identification tag associated with the disposable portion.

a reusable portion comprising an electronic circuit, the electronic circuit comprising, a high pass filter, an amplifier, a processor configured to analyze analog sensor data to produce patient condition data, wherein the high pass filter is positioned before the amplifier and the amplifier is positioned before the processor in the electronic circuit, and wherein the processor is configured to identify a lethal arrhythmia, and a transmitter configured to transmit the patient condition data to a base station in real-time, wherein the patient condition data indicates occurrence of a lethal arrhythmia; and a disposable portion removably connectable to the reusable portion, the disposable portion comprising, a power source, whereby power from the power source is supplied to the electronic circuit upon connection of the disposable portion to the reusable portion, a physiological sensor connected to the disposable portion, whereby the physiological sensor is electrically connected to the electronic circuit when the disposable portion is connected to the reusable portion, and an electronic identification tag associated with the disposable portion. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4)
