- receiving a plurality of requests to send problem reports regarding pieces of map data to a plurality of different sources of the map data, wherein each piece of map data is associated with one of the sources;
formatting the plurality of problem reports using a common application programming interface (API) shared by the plurality of different sources of the map data; and
sending each of the formatted problem reports to the particular one of the plurality of different sources that stores the map data to which the problem report relates.
