1. An system configured to manage battery resources in a wireless device, said wireless device connected to a network via a plurality of bearer paths, said system comprising:

  • a first intermediation server comprising a first processor and a first network interface connected to said wireless device via at least one of said bearer paths;

    a second intermediation server comprising a second processor and a second network interface connected to said first intermediation server;

    said first processor configured to receive a content request from said wireless device via said at least one of said bearer paths;

    said first processor configured to perform an analysis of content associated with said content request to generate analysis results;

    said first processor configured to send said analysis results to said second intermediation server;

    said second processor configured to determine a battery-optimized bearer path based on said analysis results;

    said battery-optimized bearer path determined according to which of said bearer paths consumes less battery resources of said wireless device than another one of said bearer paths, and which is also capable of fulfilling said content request; and

    said second processor further configured to send an indication of said battery-optimized bearer path to said wireless device via one of said bearer paths.
