1. A method for use in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), the method comprising:
- receiving priority information for each of a plurality of communication frequencies;
storing the priority information at the WTRU;
applying the priority information to a Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) cell; and
on a condition that the CSG cell is a highest rank cell and on a condition that the CSG cell is not included in a white list of the WTRU, selecting to a different cell that is not the CSG cell.

detecting a cell; determining whether the cell is a Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) cell; reading an infra-frequency reselection indication associated with the cell; not reselecting to a different cell regardless of the value of the intra-frequency reselection indication on a condition that the cell is a CSG cell; and on a condition that the cell is not a CSG cell, reselecting to another cell that is on a different frequency from the cell on a condition that the intra-frequency reselection indication indicates that intra-frequency reselection is not allowed.

a processor, a transmitter, and a receiver configured to; detect a cell; determine whether the cell is a Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) cell; read an intra-frequency reselection indication associated with the cell; and not reselect to a different cell regardless of the value of the intra-frequency reselection indication on a condition that the cell is a CSG cell, and on a condition that the cell is not a CSG cell, reselect to another cell that is on a different frequency from the cell on a condition that the intra-frequency reselection indication indicates that intra-frequency reselection is not allowed.
