1. An ambulatory portable dispensing device for delivering a therapeutic fluid to a patient'"'"'s body, the dispensing device comprising:

  • at least one housing accommodating a pump and at least a portion of a reservoir,at least one filling port comprising at least a self-sealable septum connectable to an inlet pipe, the inlet pipe extending out from the reservoir and comprising side fins at one end of the inlet pipe, the side fins extending within the reservoir;

    wherein the reservoir retains a therapeutic fluid for delivery to a patient'"'"'s body and is configured to collapse as the therapeutic fluid is removed from the reservoir, anda fluid channel; and

    wherein;

    the pump is operationally coupled to the fluid channel, the operational coupling of the pump to the fluid channel removes the therapeutic fluid from the reservoir without direct force of the pump on the reservoir, andas a result of the removal of therapeutic fluid from the reservoir, the reservoir collapses from a first volume to a second smaller volume.
