1. A method for supporting uplink Transmission Time Interval (TTI) bundling, the method comprising:
- receiving, via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) or a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE), a TTI bundling message that enables a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) to support uplink TTI bundling, the TTI bundling message including a TTI bundling active/de-active field and a TTI bundling configuration;
determining a state of a hybrid acknowledgement repeat request (HARQ) process;
determining an uplink TTI bundling procedure using the TTI bundling message and the HARQ process state; and
sending a transmission via a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using the determined TTI bundling procedure.

23. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), the WTRU comprising:
a processor, the processor configured to; receive a TTI bundling message, via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) or a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE), that enables a WTRU to support uplink TTI bundling, the TTI bundling message including a TTI bundling activate/de-activate field and a TTI bundling configuration; determine an uplink TTI bundling procedure using the TTI bundling message and the HARQ process state; and send a transmission via physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using the determined bundling procedure.
