1. An article of footwear, comprising:

  • a sole structure having a substantial majority of a bottom surface being partially rigid;

    a first group of traction elements disposed on a lateral side of the bottom surface, the first group of traction elements including a first plurality of traction elements disposed along a lateral edge of the sole structure;

    a second group of traction elements integrally formed with the bottom surface of the sole structure on a medial side of the bottom surface;

    the second group of traction elements including a first medial rotational cleat group and a second medial rotational cleat group;

    the first medial rotational cleat group comprising a second plurality of traction elements extending away from the bottom surface, wherein the second plurality of traction elements includes at least three independent and distinct traction elements, wherein the second plurality of traction elements are arranged a first distance from a first common center point in a first circular pattern;

    wherein each of the second plurality of traction elements includes a concave inner face facing towards the first circular pattern with a curvature coincident with the first circular pattern, and wherein each of the second plurality of traction elements includes a convex outer face disposed opposite the concave inner face and facing away from the first circular pattern;

    the second medial rotational cleat group comprising a third plurality of traction elements extending away from the bottom surface, wherein the third plurality of traction elements includes at least three independent and distinct traction elements, wherein the third plurality of traction elements are arranged a second distance from a second common center point in a second circular pattern;

    wherein each of the third plurality of traction elements includes a concave inner face facing towards the second circular pattern with a curvature coincident with the second circular pattern, and wherein each of the third plurality of traction elements includes a convex outer face disposed opposite the concave inner face and facing away from the second circular pattern;

    wherein the second plurality of traction elements includes at least a first medial cleat, the first medial cleat disposed rearward of the first common center point, and wherein the first medial cleat is also disposed forward of the entire second medial rotational cleat group;

    wherein the third plurality of traction elements includes at least a second medial cleat with a first elongate support member disposed on a side of the second medial cleat, and wherein the first elongate support member is independent of, and distinct from other medial cleats extending away from the bottom surface of the sole structure;

    wherein the first medial rotational cleat group is disposed adjacent a front peripheral edge of the sole structure;

    wherein the second medial rotational cleat group is disposed rearward of the first medial rotational cleat group;

    wherein the bottom surface is exposed between the first common center point and each of the second plurality of traction elements;

    wherein the bottom surface is exposed between the second common center point and each of the third plurality of traction elements; and

    wherein the first medial rotational cleat group and the second medial rotational cleat group are disposed in a forefoot region of the sole structure.
