1. A handheld laser distance measuring device comprising:
- at least one laser unit including a laser beam guidance apparatus configured to guide a laser beam in different directions, the at least one laser unit being configured (i) to determine a first distance in a first relative direction using the laser beam, and (ii) to determine, almost simultaneously, at least one second distance in at least one second relative direction that differs relative to the device from the first relative direction, using the laser beam; and
an input unit configured to set an angle, at least between the first relative direction and the at least one second relative direction.
