1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- providing, from a computer having one or more processors, a localization interface for localizing an application, the localization interface including first context information for an interface of the application having a first editable portion and one or more non-editable portions of the application, wherein at least one of the one or more non-editable portions is non-text based;
receiving, at the computer and via the localization interface, a first localization edit for the first editable portion of the first context information;
receiving, at the computer and via the localization interface, an indicator message that indicates a selection of a particular non-editable portion of the one or more non-editable portions, the selection indicating that the particular non-editable portion is localizable;
providing, from the computer and in response to the indicator message, second context information for the interface of the application in the localization interface, the second context information having a second editable portion corresponding to the particular non-editable portion;
receiving, at the computer and via the localization interface, a second localization edit for the second editable portion of the second context information; and
compiling, at the computer, a localized version of the application based on the first and second localization edits.

Abstract
Applications can be localized by localization experts to allow them to be used by a broader customer base. The localization can be done given interface context to produce more applicable results. A localization expert may determine that certain content within the interface context should be localized, however is not localizable by the expert. The localization expert may indicate that the content is localizable and the developer may receive the indication and provide the localization expert with updated interface context allowing localization of the previously un-localizable content.
