Abstract

A method for receiving Acknowledgement/Negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information in a mobile communication system includes receiving a first signal including first spread ACK/NACK information and second spread ACK/NACK information from a first antenna set of a transmitting end in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol; receiving a second signal including third spread ACK/NACK information and fourth spread ACK/NACK information from a second antenna set of the transmitting end in an OFDM symbol; and de-spreading at least the first and third spread ACK/NACK information or the second and fourth spread ACK/NACK information for identifying the ACK/NACK information.

Claims

1. A method for transmitting Acknowledgement/Negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information in a mobile communication system, the method comprising:

generating first and second ACK/NACK information; and

transmitting the first and second ACK/NACK information on a first and second sets of four available neighboring subcarriers of multiple antennas according to structures of Tables 1 and 2;

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the first set of four available neighboring subcarriers and the second set of four available neighboring subcarriers exist on different Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising transmitting the first and second ACK/NACK information on a third set of four available neighboring subcarriers of the multiple antennas according to a structure of Table 3:

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the antennas A and B are first two contiguously numbered antennas, and the antennas C and D are second two contiguously numbered antennas.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the antennas A and B are odd-numbered antennas, and the antennas C and D are even-numbered antennas.

6. A method for receiving Acknowledgement/Negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information in a mobile communication system, the method comprising:

receiving first and second ACK/NACK information on a first and second sets of four available neighboring subcarriers of multiple antennas according to structures of Tables 1 and 2; and

identifying the first and second ACK/NACK information,

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the first set of four available neighboring subcarriers and the second set of four available neighboring subcarriers exist on different Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols.

8. The method of claim 6, further comprising receiving the first and second ACK/NACK information on a third set of four available neighboring subcarriers of the multiple antennas according to a structure of Table 3:

9. The method of claim 6, wherein the antennas A and B are first two contiguously numbered antennas, and the antennas C and D are second two contiguously numbered antennas.

10. The method of claim 6, wherein the antennas A and B are odd-numbered antennas, and the antennas C and D are even-numbered antennas.

11. An apparatus configured to transmit Acknowledgement/Negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information in a mobile communication system, the apparatus comprising:

a radio frequency unit; and

a processor,

wherein the processor is configured to generate first and second ACK/NACK information, and to transmit the first and second ACK/NACK information on a first and second sets of four available neighboring subcarriers of multiple antennas according to Tables 1 and 2;

12. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the first set of four available neighboring subcarriers and the second set of four available neighboring subcarriers exist on different Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols.

13. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the processor is further configured to transmit the first and second ACK/NACK information on a third set of four available neighboring subcarriers of the multiple antennas according to a structure of Table 3:

14. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the antennas A and B are first two contiguously numbered antennas, and the antennas C and D are second two contiguously numbered antennas.

15. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the antennas A and B are odd-numbered antennas, and the antennas C and D are even-numbered antennas.

16. An apparatus configured to receive Acknowledgement/Negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information in a mobile communication system, the apparatus comprising:

a radio frequency unit; and

a processor,

wherein the processor is configured to receive first and second ACK/NACK information on a first and second sets of four available neighboring subcarriers of multiple antennas according to structures of Tables 1 and 2, and to identify the first and second ACK/NACK information,

17. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the first set of four available neighboring subcarriers and the second set of four available neighboring subcarriers exist on different Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols.

18. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the processor is further configured to transmit the first and second ACK/NACK information on a third set of four available neighboring subcarriers of the multiple antennas according to a structure of Table 3:

19. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the antennas A and B are first two contiguously numbered antennas, and the antennas C and D are second two contiguously numbered antennas.

20. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the antennas A and B are odd-numbered antennas, and the antennas C and D are even-numbered antennas.
