1. A method, comprising:
- providing at a host computing device a wireless power transmission module and a wireless data transmission module, wherein both the wireless power transmission module and the wireless data transmission module are integrated on a single common circuit board of the host computing device;
configuring, using a processor of the host computing device, the wireless power transmission module based upon one or more transmission policies, wherein the one or more transmission policies include a time-based transmission policy related to a time instant or duration of an operation of the wireless power transmission module and a power-based transmission policy related to the operation of the wireless power transmission module; and
transmitting wirelessly from the host computing device power and multi-media data to a peripheral device, upon receipt thereof from the wireless power transmission module and the wireless data transmission module, respectively.

Abstract
In accordance with various aspects of the disclosure, a method and apparatus is disclosed that includes features of a host computing device, and a wireless power transmission module and a wireless data transmission module both integrated on a circuit board of the host computing device. The host computing device is configured to transmit power and multi-media data to a peripheral device, upon receipt thereof from the wireless power transmission module and the wireless data transmission module, respectively. The peripheral device is configured to receive wirelessly power and multi-media data from a host computing device, and provide the received power and multi-media data to a wireless power reception module and a wireless data reception module, respectively, for processing, both modules being integrated on a circuit board of the peripheral device.

providing at a peripheral device a wireless power reception module and a wireless data reception module, wherein both the wireless power reception module and the wireless data reception module are integrated on a single common circuit board of the peripheral device; receiving wirelessly at the peripheral device power and multi-media data from a host computing device; and providing the received power to the wireless power reception module and the received multi-media data to the wireless data reception module for processing, wherein, if a time duration to receive a certain power level from the host computing device exceeds a threshold time limit, the peripheral device is configured to temporarily draw power from a battery module in the peripheral device. - View Dependent Claims (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15)
