1. A lighting system for enhancing visual perception, comprising:
- a display screen;
a frame having a perimeter including a first light source and a second light source positioned about the perimeter of the frame, wherein the frame is designed to be reversibly coupled around the display screen, wherein the first light source provides key light and the second light source provides fill light, and wherein the key light and fill light are of different intensities;
a processor operatively connected to the frame to individually control the light intensity, temperature, or brightness of the first and second light sources; and
a camera disposed adjacent to the display screen to capture images, wherein the processor is operatively connected to the camera, the processor configured to automatically enhance the captured images and display the enhanced images as a mirror reflection on the display screen;
wherein the processor automatically;
increases the exposure level of the non-manipulated captured image between 5% and 25%;
increases the highlight levels of the non-manipulated captured image between 5% to 10%;
increases the midtone levels of the non-manipulated captured image between 5% to 10%;
decreases the lowlight levels of the non-manipulated captured image between 5% to 10%;
adjusts the color temperature of the non-manipulated captured image by increasing the yellow tones between 50% to 150%;
adjusts the tint of the non-manipulated captured image by decreasing the red tones between 5% to 10%;
increases the contrast of the non-manipulated captured image between 50% to 150%;
increases the color saturation of the non-manipulated captured image between 50% to 150%;
diffuses the midtones of the non-manipulated captured image between 5% to 100%;
increases the highlight sharpening of the non-manipulated captured image between 5% to 10%;
compresses the non-manipulated captured image along the x-axis between 5% to 10%; and
extends the non-manipulated captured image along the y-axis between 5% to 10%.

Abstract
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a lighting system for modifying visual perception of an image. In one embodiment, the lighting system includes a display screen and a frame that is designed to be reversibly coupled around the display screen. The frame includes a first light source and a second light source positioned about a perimeter of the frame. The first light source provides key light and the second light source provides fill light. The lighting system also includes a processor operatively connected to the frame to individually control the light intensity, temperature, or brightness of the first and second light sources. The lighting system also may include a camera disposed adjacent to the display screen to capture images. In this embodiment, the processor is connected to the camera and the processor automatically enhances the captured images and displays the enhanced images as a mirror reflection on the display screen.
