Abstract

A piece of furniture has an actuating arrangement for a flap of the piece of furniture. An actuating arm arrangement includes a lever arrangement for moving the flap and a main spring that acts in the closing direction (SR) to hold the flap closed. The piece of furniture also has an ejecting device for ejecting the flap in the opening direction (OR) by overpressing the flap in the closing direction (SR). At least one support spring acts in the opening direction (OR) and is separate from the ejecting device, and supports the ejecting motion of the ejecting device. At least in an overpressed closed position (US), the spring forces (A, U) are together greater than the closing force (Z) which acts on the flap and which is provided by the main spring acting in the closing direction (SR).

Claims

1. An item of furniture comprising:

a furniture body;

a furniture flap movably attached to said furniture body;

an adjusting arm arrangement for moving said furniture flap, said adjusting arm arrangement including;

a lever arrangement including a first lever and a second lever; and

a main spring configured to act on said lever arrangement so as to thereby act on said furniture flap via said lever arrangement in a closing direction of said furniture flap so as to lock said furniture flap;

an ejection device attached to one of said furniture body or said adjusting arm arrangement, said ejection device being configured to be actuated by overpressing said furniture flap in the closing direction, and to act on said furniture flap in an opening direction of said furniture flap after actuation so as to eject said furniture flap in the opening direction;

an ejection support device integrated into said lever arrangement, said ejection support device including a support spring mounted on said first lever of said lever arrangement and acting on said second lever of said lever arrangement so as to thereby act on said furniture flap in the opening direction of said furniture flap, said ejection support device being separate from said ejection device, said support spring being configured to support an ejection movement of said ejection device;

wherein said adjusting arm arrangement, said ejection device, and said support spring are configured so that, in an overpressed closed position, combined spring forces of said ejection device and said support spring acting on said furniture flap in the opening direction of said furniture flap are greater than a spring force of said main spring acting on said furniture flap in the closing direction of said furniture flap.

2. The item of furniture of claim 1, wherein a spring force of said ejection device acting in the opening direction of said furniture flap in the overpressed closed position is in a range between 5 N and 20 N.

3. The item of furniture of claim 2, wherein a spring force of said ejection device acting in the opening direction of said furniture flap in the overpressed closed position is in a range between 12 N and 15 N.

4. The item of furniture of claim 1, wherein said ejection support device further includes a housing accommodating said support spring, and a pusher urged by said support spring and arranged to act on said second lever of said lever arrangement.

5. The item of furniture of claim 1, wherein said support spring is configured to be tensioned by said first lever of said lever arrangement during closing, and said support spring is configured to damp movement of said furniture flap in the closing direction.

The item of furniture of claim 1, wherein said adjusting arm arrangement and said support spring are configured so that, in the overpressed closed position, a spring force of said support spring acting on said furniture flap in the opening direction of said furniture flap is less than the spring force of said main spring acting on said furniture flap in the closing direction of said furniture flap.

7. The item of furniture of claim 6, wherein said adjusting arm arrangement and said support spring are configured so that, in a range of relative opening angles between said furniture body and said furniture flap of 20°

to 50°

, the spring force of said support spring acting on said furniture flap in the opening direction of said furniture flap is greater than the spring force of said main spring acting on said furniture flap in the closing direction of said furniture flap.

8. The item of furniture of claim 1, wherein said adjusting arm arrangement and said support spring are configured so that, in a range of relative opening angles between said furniture body and said furniture flap of 20°

to 50°

, a spring force of said support spring acting on said furniture flap in the opening direction of said furniture flap is greater than the spring force of said main spring acting on said furniture flap in the closing direction of said furniture flap.

9. The item of furniture of claim 1, wherein said support spring is a coil spring.

14. The item of furniture of claim 1, further comprising a fixing plate fixed to said furniture body, each of said first lever and said second lever being movably mounted to said fixing plate.

15. The item of furniture of claim 1, wherein said support spring is configured to apply a force in an opening direction against said furniture flap when said furniture flap is in a fully closed position and in the overpressed closed position.

10. An adjusting arm arrangement comprising:

a lever arrangement to be connected to a flap, said lever arrangement including a first lever and a second lever;

a main spring for acting on said lever arrangement so as to thereby act on the flap via said lever arrangement in a closing direction of the flap; and

an ejection support device integrated into said lever arrangement, said ejection support device including;

a support spring mounted on said first lever of said lever arrangement and acting on said second lever of said lever arrangement; and

a pusher loaded via said support spring and configured to act on said lever arrangement so as to thereby act on the flap in an opening direction of the flap, said pusher configured to lie against said second lever of said lever arrangement, only a spring force of said support spring acting on said pusher;

wherein said main spring and said support spring are configured so that, in a range of relative opening angles between a furniture body and the flap of 0°

to 10°

, a spring force of said support spring acting on the flap in the opening direction of the flap is less than the spring force of said main spring acting on the flap in the closing direction of the flap; and

wherein said main spring and said support spring are configured so that, in a range of relative opening angles between the furniture body and the flap of 20°

to 50°

, the spring force of said support spring acting on the flap in the opening direction of the flap is greater than the spring force of said main spring acting on the flap in the closing direction of the flap.

11. The adjusting arm arrangement of claim 10, wherein said ejection support device further includes a housing accommodating said support spring.

12. A piece of furniture comprising:

a furniture body;

a furniture flap; and

said adjusting arm arrangement of claim 10 for moving said furniture flap relative to said furniture body.

13. The adjusting arm arrangement of claim 10, wherein said support spring is a coil spring.

16. The adjusting arm arrangement of claim 10, further comprising a fixing plate to be fixed to the furniture body, each of said first lever and said second lever being movably mounted to said fixing plate.

17. The adjusting arm arrangement of claim 10, wherein said support spring is configured so that, in the range of relative opening angles between the furniture body and the flap of 0°

to 10°

, the spring force of said support spring acting on the flap in the opening direction of the flap is greater than zero.
