1. A non-transitory computer readable medium, having stored thereon, computer-executable instructions executable by a processor, the computer-executable instructions causing the processor to execute a method for changing focus in a device having first and second dynamically configurable areas outside of a display area comprising:

  • establishing focus on a first window;

    changing focus to a second window;

    receiving user input from the second dynamically configurable area to reveal a desktop;

    removing focus from the second window;

    moving the first and second windows from a first display and second display;

    revealing the desktop;

    receiving a gesture to hide the desktop;

    redisplaying the first and second windows; and

    replacing focus back on the second window.
