Abstract

According to the invention a main-load bearing skin shell for a structural component is provided, wherein the skin shell for being affixed to a support component comprises an outer edge section with an outer edge and comprises: a connection region that does not comprise a core layer, which connection region extends along the edge with the inner skin section and the outer skin section, wherein in an end region of the core layer along the outer edge section of the skin shell reinforcement devices are integrated that project through the shear-force-absorbing core layer.

Claims

1. A flow body with a main-load bearing skin shell, which skin shell in its two-dimensionally extending inside region is constructed as a sandwich component comprising an inner skin section, an outer skin section and a shear-force-absorbing core layer situated between them;

wherein the skin shell for being affixed to a support component comprises an outer edge section with an outer edge and with a connection region that extends along the edge with the inner skin section and the outer skin section, wherein the shear-force-absorbing core layer extends as far as in front of the outer edge section;

wherein in an end region of the core layer within the inside region along the outer edge section of the skin shell a multitude of reinforcement devices are integrated which in each case project through at least 85% of the shear-force-absorbing core layer in the latter'"'"'s thickness direction in order to improve the crack resistance of the skin shell in the outer edge section; and

wherein the reinforcement devices are provided in the outer edge section of the skin shell and prior to a section adjacent to the outer edge section of the skin shell.

The flow body according to claim 1, wherein the connection region of the outer edge section is designed as a connection region that does not comprise a core layer, which connection region extends along the edge, with the inner skin section and the outer skin section, in which connection region the inner skin section and the outer skin section rest one upon the other.

3. The flow body according to claim 1, wherein at least part of the reinforcement devices are arranged in the end region of the core layer in such a manner that in each case their ends at least in part project through the inner skin section and/or the outer skin section.

The flow body according to claim 1, wherein reinforcement components in the skin shell are in each case arranged, in each case as reinforcement devices, in groups of reinforcement components, which groups are situated in volume components of the skin shell, wherein a multitude of the volume components are arranged one behind the other along a longitudinal direction of the ribs, wherein each of the volume components, in each case, comprises a combination of at least two reinforcement components whose alignments in each case deviate by a maximum of 30 degrees from the thickness direction of the skin shell, and which are arranged in a regular or irregular manner around a centre axis of the volume component.

5. The flow body according to claim 4, wherein in the end region of the core layer of the skin shell the multitude of volume components, each comprising a group of reinforcement components, are arranged one behind the other along at least one region of the outer edge section.

The flow body according to claim 4, wherein at least part of the reinforcement devices comprises pairs of the reinforcement components, of which, the pairs of the reinforcement components are arranged in an X-shaped manner when viewed in the direction of a longitudinal extension of the outer edge section of the skin shell.

7. The flow body according to claim 1, wherein at least part of the reinforcement components comprise a pin-shaped design.

The flow body according to claim 1, wherein the shear-force-absorbing core layer comprises at least one reinforcement region that extends along the outer edge section of the skin shell and across a longitudinal extension of the shear-force-absorbing core layer extends through the shear-force-absorbing core layer, wherein the reinforcement region comprises a material that provides at least twice the stiffness of the shear-force-absorbing core layer.

9. The flow body according to claim 8, wherein several reinforcement components in each case at least in part project through the reinforcement region.

10. The flow body according to claim 9, wherein one end of reinforcement components has been inserted in the reinforcement region while the remaining region extends in the shear-force-absorbing core layer.

A flow body with a main-load bearing skin shell, which skin shell in its two-dimensionally extending inside region is designed as a sandwich component and comprises an inner skin section, an outer skin section and a shear-force-absorbing core layer, situated between the aforesaid, which skin section two-dimensionally interconnects the inner and the outer skin sections,

wherein for being affixed to a support component the skin shell comprises an outer edge section with an outer edge and comprises:

a connection region, which extends along the edge, which connection region does not comprise a core layer, with the inner skin section, the outer skin section and a monolithic intermediate layer;

wherein in an end region of the core layer within the inside region along the outer edge section of the skin shell a multitude of reinforcement devices are integrated which in each case project through at least 85% of the shear-force-absorbing core layer in the latter'"'"'s thickness direction in order to improve the crack resistance of the skin shell in the outer edge section;

wherein reinforcement devices are provided in the outer edge section of the skin shell and prior to a section adjacent to the outer edge section of the skin shell.

12. The flow body according to claim 11, wherein in the outer edge section a transition region is provided in which the thickness of the monolithic intermediate layer decreases in the direction of the outer edge for the purpose of reducing the cross-sectional thickness of the skin shell.

The flow body according to claim 11, wherein when viewed from the inside region in front of the connection region that does not comprise a core layer an intermediate region is provided in which the thickness of the shear-force-absorbing core layer continuously decreases in the direction of the edge of the aforesaid while forming a section, which is wedge-shaped when viewed in cross section, of the monolithic intermediate layer between the side of the shear-force-absorbing core layer, which side faces the outer skin section, and the outer skin section, and/or between the side of the shear-force-absorbing core layer, which side faces the inner skin section, and the inner skin section.

14. The flow body according to claim 11, wherein at least part of the reinforcement devices are arranged in the end region of the core layer in such a manner that in each case their ends at least in part project through the inner skin section and/or the outer skin section.

The flow body according to claim 11, wherein reinforcement components in the skin shell are in each case arranged, in each case as reinforcement devices, in groups of reinforcement components, which groups are situated in a volume component of the skin shell, wherein the volume components are arranged one behind the other along the longitudinal direction of the ribs, wherein each group of a volume component in each case comprises a combination of at least two reinforcement components whose alignments in each case deviate by a maximum of 30 degrees from the thickness direction of the skin shell, and which are arranged in a regular or irregular manner around a centre axis of the volume component.

16. The flow body according to claim 11, wherein in the end region of the core layer of the skin shell a multitude of volume components with a group of reinforcement components are arranged one behind the other along at least one region of the outer edge section.

The flow body according to claim 11, wherein at least part of the reinforcement devices comprise pairs of reinforcement components, of which pairs of reinforcement components are arranged in an X-shaped manner when viewed in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the outer edge section of the skin shell.

18. The flow body according to claim 11, wherein at least part of the reinforcement components comprise a pin-shaped design.

The flow body according to claim 11, wherein the shear-force-absorbing core layer comprises at least one reinforcement region that extends along the outer edge section of the skin shell and across the longitudinal extension of the shear-force-absorbing core layer extends through the shear-force-absorbing core layer, wherein the reinforcement region comprises a material that provides at least twice the stiffness of the shear-force-absorbing core layer.

20. The flow body according to claim 19, wherein several reinforcement components in each case at least in part project through the reinforcement region.

21. The flow body according to claim 20, wherein one end of reinforcement components has been inserted in the reinforcement region while the remaining region extends in the shear-force-absorbing core layer.
