Abstract

Aspects of the present invention relate to communication technologies for securely sharing information in head worn computing.

Claims

1. A secure data transfer method, comprising:

a. identifying a second head worn computing system (“

HWC”

) in close proximity to a first HWC, wherein the step of identifying the HWC includes comparing a geo-spatial location, represented by GPS coordinates, of each of the first and second HWCs;

b. determining that the first and second HWCs have viewing angles that are substantially aligned, of opposite direction and positioned such that they are predicted to be facing each other, wherein the substantial alignment is determined by a comparison of compass headings from each of the first and second HWCs; and

c. causing information to be shared between the first and second HWC.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising obtaining device information from the first and second HWCs such that the information is shared based on the device information.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising obtaining user information for the first and second HWCs such that the information is shared based on the user information.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the information is shared based on a user initiated command, wherein the user initiated command is communicated following determination of the proximity and the viewing angles.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the user initiated command is based on an interaction with an external user interface.

6. The method of claim 4, wherein the user initiated command is based on a user gesture.

7. The method of claim 4, wherein the user initiated command is based on eye image data.
