1. A method of providing content, comprising:

  • receiving from a user device via a network an indication that a user input associated with dismissing a displayed content for later follow up, wherein the user device is configured to discontinue display of the content in response to the user input;

    storing in a database a follow up record based at least in part on the indication;

    using the follow up record to provide to a user with which the user input is associated a follow up content associated with the dismissed content, wherein the follow up content is provided over the network to a device associated with the user; and

    tracking user engagement with the follow up content.
