1. A display device with a touch detection function comprising:

  • a substrate;

    a plurality of pixel electrodes that are arranged in a matrix on a plane parallel to a surface of the substrate;

    a plurality of signal lines that extend in a first direction on a plane parallel to the surface of the substrate and supply pixel signals used for displaying an image to the pixel electrodes;

    a display functional layer that performs an image displaying function based on the pixel signals;

    a drive electrode that faces the plurality of the pixel electrodes in a vertical direction with respect to the surface of the substrate, a longitudinal direction of the drive electrodes extending in the first direction;

    a plurality of touch detection electrodes that are metal wirings facing the drive electrode in the vertical direction and that extend in a second direction different from the first direction, the metal wirings being arranged with a predetermined pitch so as to make capacitive coupling with the drive electrode;

    a color filter that faces the display functional layer in the vertical direction and has a plurality of color areas including at least one of a red area, a green area, and a blue area; and

    a plurality of pixels that each includes the red area, the green area, and the blue area, and that has an edge portion including first edge portions extending in the first direction and second edge portions extending in the second direction,wherein each of the touch detection electrodes includes a plurality of bending portions at regular intervals, andwherein the second edge portions of the pixels are overlapped by each of the touch detection electrodes except in each of the bending portions.
