Ceramic bushing with filter
First Claim
1. An electrical bushing for use in a housing of an implantable medical device, whereby the electrical bushing comprises at least one electrically insulating base body and at least one electrical conducting element;
- whereby the conducting element establishes, though the base body, at least one electrically conductive connection between an internal space of the housing and an external space;
whereby the conducting element is hermetically sealed with respect to the base body; and
characterized in that the electrical bushing comprises an electrical filter structure, whereby the at least one conducting element provides at least one electrically conductive surface of the filter structure and such that the conducting element and the electrically conductive surface of the filter structure both comprise at least one cermet such that they are connected through a firmly bonded, electrically conductive connection and are part of the same structure and such that there is no connective material or gaps therebetween.

Abstract
One aspect relates to an electrical bushing for use in a housing of an implantable medical device. The electrical bushing includes at least one electrically insulating base body and at least one electrical conducting element. The conducting element is set up to establish, through the base body, at least one electrically conductive connection between an internal space of the housing and an external space. The conducting element is hermetically sealed with respect to the base body. The at least one conducting element includes at least one cermet.
The electrical bushing includes an electrical filter structure. The at least one conducting element forms at least one electrically conducting surface of the filter structure.
