20. A method of controlling a standby feature of a power supply device by a burst mode control arrangement, said method comprising:
-
a burst mode operation arrangement receiving a first feedback parameter associated with a switch of a switch arrangement and being indicative of the power consumption at said an output, continuously averaging said first feedback parameter over a time period to establish a resulting parameter, and continuously comparing said resulting parameter with a first threshold, so as to disable said standby feature if said resulting parameter exceeds said first threshold, receiving and evaluating a second feedback parameter indicative of the output voltage of said power supply device to enable said switch arrangement when said second feedback parameter exceeds a second threshold.
