A method of controlling undesirable vegetation which comprises applying to vegetation or an area adjacent the vegetation or applying to soil or water to control the emergence or growth of vegetation a composition comprising a herbicidal active ingredient comprising (a) aminocyclopyrachlor, or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof and (b) fluroxypyr, or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof,wherein (a) and (b) are each added in an amount sufficient to provide a synergistic herbicidal effect, wherein the acid equivalent weight ratio of (a) to (b) is from 1:

  • 6 to 1;

    1, andwherein the undesirable vegetation includes buckhorn plantain, common guava, calvary clover, shepherd'"'"'s purse, yellow star thistle, or cat'"'"'s-ear dandelion.
