1. A golf club head, comprising:

  • a front hitting cup including a face that defines a ball-striking surface, and a hosel that extends away from a heel portion of the hitting cup;

    an aft cup; and

    a tubular midsection that extends between and couples the front hitting cup and the aft cup, wherein the midsection is constructed of a material that is different than a material of the front hitting cup and a material of the aft cup,wherein at least a portion of the front hitting cup and the midsection form a crown and a sole, wherein the crown defines an upper surface of the golf club head, and the sole defines a lower surface of the golf club head, the sole comprising a transmittal portion, a flexure and a rear portion,wherein the transmittal portion extends between the face and the flexure such that the flexure is spaced aftward of the ball-striking surface by the transmittal portion, andwherein the flexure is formed at least partially in the hitting cup and at least partially in the midsection and comprises a front wall, an apex and a rear wall, wherein the front wall extends into a cavity defined by the golf club head and the rear wall extends into the cavity and the front wall and the rear wall are coupled at the apex.
