1. A method in a mobile station, the method comprising:
- receiving, by the mobile station, a frequency list specifying a set of frequencies for which measurements are to be performed; and
receiving, by the mobile station, information that indicates a subset of frequencies from the set of frequencies for reduced measurement performance;
wherein measurement performance includes cell reselection timing performance,wherein the set of frequencies comprises a first subset of frequencies, and the information received by the mobile station indicates a second subset of frequencies having reduced cell reselection performance compared with the first subset of frequencies in the frequency list, andwherein frequencies with normal or reduced measurement performance requirements are distinguished within the frequency list.

Abstract
Methods, apparatus and articles of manufacture for performing inter-frequency measurements in a mobile network are disclosed. Example methods disclosed herein include a mobile station receiving, from a network, one or more lists specifying a set of frequencies for which measurements are to be performed. Such example methods also include the mobile station varying a rate at which the measurements are to be performed for a first frequency of the set of frequencies based on a number of frequencies for which the measurements are to be performed.
