1. An implant for a body cavity, comprising a body formed of a bioabsorbable material having a porosity sufficient to ensure tissue in-growth before significant bio-absorption of the implant, a radiopaque imaging agent which facilitates imaging of exterior margins of the implant and an interior orientation marker comprised of a plurality of radiopaque elements spaced inwardly from the exterior margins of the implant to facilitate relative orientation between the implant and a radiation source, wherein the plurality of radiopaque elements include at least three radiopaque elements arranged to form a plane within the interior of the implant wherein the plurality of radiopaque elements consists of three radiopaque elements which are located at apices of an equilateral triangle within the interior of the implant to form the plane.
