a transparent cover (3) arranged between the display area (A) and a possible observer of the display area (A); and
an adhesive configured to bond the transparent cover (3) onto the display area (A),wherein the surface of the transparent cover (3) has a planar inner region (2a) bonded by adhesive onto the display area (A) and a peripheral region (4), the peripheral region surrounding the planar inner region (2a) and having an arcuate cross-sectional profile that extends above the plane of the planar inner region (2a).
