A toner comprising a binder resin and a thermoplastic elastomer, wherein,the thermoplastic elastomer has a glass transition temperature (Tg) which does not exceed room temperature,the thermoplastic elastomer comprises a portion which is compatible with the binder resin,the toner comprises a crystalline part originating from the thermoplastic elastomer,the binder resin has a glass transition temperature of at least 60°
- C. and the softening point of the thermoplastic elastomer is less than or equal to the softening point of the binder resin, andthe thermoplastic elastomer is an ester-type urethane thermoplastic elastomer.

Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide a toner that produces an excellent bending resistance in the output image and that also exhibits an excellent low-temperature fixability and an excellent storage stability. This toner includes a binder resin and a thermoplastic elastomer having a crystalline part, wherein the binder resin and the thermoplastic elastomer in the toner are compatible with each other and the toner has a crystalline part originating from the thermoplastic elastomer.
