1. A wireless communication device comprising:

  • a processor configured to;

    generate a packet for transmission to a recipient wireless communication device via a transmission medium partitioned into a plurality of sub-bands; and

    multiply the packet by a sequence to generate a set of packets, wherein the sequence is effective to reduce or minimize peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of the set of packets, wherein the sequence includes at least two coefficients selected from a set that includes 1, −

    1, j, and −

    j; and

    a communication interface configured to transmit at least two packets of the set of packets respectively via at least two sub-bands of the plurality of sub-bands.
