1. An electric vehicle, comprising:
- a roof;
a charging interface positioned on the roof, the charging interface being configured to engage with an external charging station to charge the vehicle, the charging interface including;
an insulating body projecting from the roof and having a length extending along a length direction of the vehicle;
a pair of electrodes extending along the length of the insulating body and positioned on opposite side surfaces of the insulating body; and
a pair of guiding elements on the roof extending along the length dimension of the vehicle, the pair of guiding elements being symmetrically positioned about the insulating body such that a distance between the pair of guiding elements at a first location closer to a front of the vehicle is greater than a distance between the pair of guiding elements at a second location closer to the rear of the vehicle.
