1. A device comprising:

  • one or more substrates disposed along one or more portions of a surface area of the device, the device having a form factor of a stylus, wherein the device comprises a tip, an end opposite the tip, and a shaft;

    one or more touch sensors disposed on one or more of the substrates, at least one of the touch sensors comprising a distinct touch-sensitive area configured as a wheel slider aligned around a circumference of the device, wherein the distinct touch-sensitive area comprises a flexible mesh formed using lines of conductive material; and

    a computer-readable non-transitory storage medium coupled to one or more of the touch sensors and embodying logic configured when executed to;

    associate the distinct touch-sensitive area with a pre-determined function of the device;

    transmit signals wirelessly to another device through a touch sensor of the other device; and

    initiate the pre-determined function based on a change in position of a touch or proximity input substantially within the distinct touch-sensitive area of the device having the form factor of a stylus, wherein the pre-determined function initiates a movement of an object displayed on the other device.
