1. A method for a spectator to record by photograph or video a moving person or object in a live event at substantially any sports event location while being able to watch substantially continuously the moving person or object and/or event comprising:
- a. positioning a camera (still or video) relative to the event location so that its aiming direction is generally towards the event location and its field of view can capture at least a substantial portion of the event location;
b. positioning the spectator to have a direct view of the event location with a control device having a display for presenting the camera field of view to the spectator and a user-actuated control for indicating any position on the display; and
c. communicating change of aiming direction, zoom, or field of view instructions to the camera via correlative touch and feel control of the control device by the spectator which;
i. does not materially disrupt or obstruct the spectator'"'"'s view of the event; and
ii. tracks live movement of an individual sports player moving in the event location by the spectator operating the control to generally indicate on the display relative position or direction of movement of the moving person or object in the event location and bases the instructions of such tracking;
d. so that the spectator can substantially continuously view the live event with only occasional visual reference to the control device.
