1. A liquid crystal display device, comprising:

  • a lower panel comprising;

    a lower substrate,a pixel electrode disposed on the lower substrate and comprising a partial plate electrode and a plurality of minute branch electrodes extending from the partial plate electrode, anda lower layer disposed on the lower substrate and below the pixel electrode and comprising an inclined;

    an upper panel comprising an upper substrate facing the lower substrate and a common electrode formed on the upper substrate; and

    a liquid crystal layer positioned between the lower panel and the upper panel,wherein at least two minute branch electrodes of the plurality of minute branch electrodes extend from a same edge of the partial plate electrode,wherein a part of the inclined portion overlaps with the at least two minute branch electrodes.
