1. A method of selectively presenting received messages in a vehicle via an in-vehicle computing system, the method comprising:

  • extracting information of a received message;

    determining an operating condition of the vehicle;

    assigning a priority to the received message based on one or more of the extracted information and the operating condition of the vehicle, the priority being selectively updated based on a change in the operating condition of the vehicle;

    insert the received message into an ordered list of received messages based on the priority of the received message, the ordered list being re-ordered responsive to receiving a new message and responsive to detecting a change in the operating condition of the vehicle; and

    selectively presenting the information of the received message from the ordered list in order of priority based on a selected operating condition of the vehicle being satisfied, the received messages from the ordered list being continuously presented in order of priority until the selected operating condition of the vehicle is no longer satisfied.
