1. A multi-purpose host system for use in intravascular procedures, comprising:

  • a user interface having at least one user input device and a display;

    a first intravascular device including the first intravascular sensing component;

    a second intravascular device including the second intravascular sensing component; and

    a processing system in communication with the user interface, the first intravascular device, and the second intravascular device, the processing system configured to;

    control, in response to an input to the at least one user input device of the user interface, operation of at least one of the first intravascular sensing component and the second intravascular sensing component via a component in communication with the processing system and at least one of the first intravascular sensing component and the second intravascular sensing component;

    receive data from the first intravascular sensing component, wherein the data received from the first intravascular sensing component includes data related to a first intravascular parameter;

    receive data from the second intravascular sensing component, wherein the data received from the second intravascular sensing component includes data related to a second intravascular parameter, the second intravascular parameter being different than the first intravascular parameter;

    process the data related to the first intravascular parameter to produce a visual representation of the first intravascular parameter for display within a first graphical user interface display;

    process the data related to the second intravascular parameter to produce a visual representation of the second intravascular parameter for display within a second graphical user interface display;

    output the first graphical user interface display, including the visual representation of the first intravascular parameter, to the display of the user interface in a first display mode; and

    output the second graphical user interface display, including the visual representation of the second intravascular parameter, to the display of the user interface in a second display mode;

    wherein processing system is configured to toggle between the first display mode and the second display mode in response to an input to the at least one user input device of the user interface.
