1. A method of diagnosing Alzheimer'"'"'s Disease in a patient suspected of having this disease comprising the steps of:

  • a. isolating a biological sample from said patient;

    b. contacting said biological sample with an isolated antibody for a time and under conditions sufficient for formation of antigen/antibody complexes, wherein the isolated antibody comprises;

    (i) a heavy chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO;

    5 and a light chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO;

    6 or(ii) a heavy chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO;

    7 and a light chain variable region comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO;

    8; and

    c. detecting presence of said antigen/antibody complexes in said sample, whereby the presence of said complexes indicates a diagnosis of Alzheimer'"'"'s Disease in said patient.
