1. A wireless power transmitter configured to transfer power to a wireless power receiver in a wireless manner, the transmitter comprising:

  • a coil configured to transmit power to the wireless power receiver in different frequency bands of a first communication standard and a second communication standard;

    a circuit unit having a plurality of capacitors electrically connected to the coil, and configured to support each of a plurality of frequencies by changing the electric connection of the capacitors; and

    a wireless charging unit configured to;

    apply an input voltage to the coil to detect whether the wireless power receiver supports the first communication standard,detect a communication standard which the wireless power receiver complies with based on whether a signal from the wireless power receiver is received, andcontrol the electric connection of the capacitors to be charged such that the circuit unit operates at a frequency corresponding to the detected communication standard.
