Systems and methods for downlink frequency domain multiplexing transmissions
First Claim
1. A method for high-efficiency wireless frequency division multiplexing, comprising:
- receiving a coordination packet from an access point in a second basic service set (BSS) indicating that a primary frequency channel is used to communicate with a first set of wireless devices in the second BSS and a ternary frequency channel is used to communicate with a second set of wireless devices in the second BSS;
transmitting, in response to receiving the coordination packet, first packets to a first subset of wireless devices in a first BSS using the primary frequency channel; and
transmitting, in response to receiving the coordination packet, second packets to a second subset of wireless devices in the first BSS using a secondary frequency channel instead of the ternary frequency channel to avoid interfering with third packets transmitted by the access point in the second BSS to the second set of wireless devices in the second BSS using the ternary frequency channel.

Abstract
Systems, methods, and devices for transmitting data are described herein. In some aspects, a method comprises generating a first packet. The first packet may comprise a physical layer and a media access control (MAC) layer. The MAC layer may allocate a first station to a primary frequency channel and a second station to a secondary frequency channel. The method further comprises transmitting the first packet to the first station and the second station. The method further comprises transmitting a second packet to the first station using the primary frequency channel. The method further comprises transmitting a third packet to the second station using the secondary frequency channel.
