1. A method for high-efficiency wireless frequency division multiplexing, comprising:

  • receiving a coordination packet from an access point in a second basic service set (BSS) indicating that a primary frequency channel is used to communicate with a first set of wireless devices in the second BSS and a ternary frequency channel is used to communicate with a second set of wireless devices in the second BSS;

    transmitting, in response to receiving the coordination packet, first packets to a first subset of wireless devices in a first BSS using the primary frequency channel; and

    transmitting, in response to receiving the coordination packet, second packets to a second subset of wireless devices in the first BSS using a secondary frequency channel instead of the ternary frequency channel to avoid interfering with third packets transmitted by the access point in the second BSS to the second set of wireless devices in the second BSS using the ternary frequency channel.
