1. A method for producing a pressure sensor having a pocket, comprising the steps of:

  • connecting at least one optical fiber at least partially along its length to a measuring diaphragm so that a deflection of the measuring diaphragm caused by a flowing medium through to an extension or compression of the optical fiber, forming a pocket that is deflectable by the flowing medium and locating the measuring diaphragm with the optical fiber connected thereto in the pocket in a manner such that the pocket protects the measuring diaphragm from the flowing medium and causes the measuring diaphragm to be deflected together with the pocket, forming a suspension of a powder with a particle size in the range of 2 μ

    m to 8 μ

m in a liquid, andcentrifuging the suspension into the pocket so as to form an intermediary medium filling spaces between the pocket and the measuring diaphragm.
