Abstract

A system includes, but is not limited to: obtaining and one or more physical status sending modules configured to direct sending one or more bendable electronic device physical status related information portions to the bendable electronic device based upon the obtaining of the first information. In addition to the foregoing, other related system/system aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining radius information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly;

circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including at least determining whether the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value; and

circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the radius information and at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value.

2. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining from one or more sensors information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

3. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining radius information associated with one or more folds about one or more hinges of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

4. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations about one or more display region borders of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

5. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations within one or more display regions of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

6. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information associated with one or more of the following types of conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly;

fold, bend, and/or roll.

7. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more display layers.

8. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly having two or more display surfaces.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

circuitry configured for selecting content for display on one or more outside surfaces of at least one electronic paper assembly at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

circuitry configured for selecting content for display on one or more inside surfaces of at least one electronic paper assembly at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

circuitry configured for selecting content for display on one or more internal display layers of at least one electronic paper assembly at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value.

12. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for recognizing one or more shapes.

13. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for recognizing one or more conformations.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one of the following types of electronic paper assemblies;

OLED, electrowetting, twist ball, liquid crystal, liquid powder, flexible transistor, light emitting diode, electrophoretic, and electrofluidic.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly having one or more touch input portions.

16. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for determining position and/or location information associated with the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

circuitry configured for selecting at least one application for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

circuitry configured for selecting content associated with one or more of the following types of applications for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly;

cell phone, television, PDA, personal computer, ebook, calendar, wallet, audio, video, audio-video, game, web browser, mapping, and/or entertainment.

19. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining angle information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

20. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining location information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

21. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for receiving information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

22. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining information associated with one or more surface contacts with one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

23. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

circuitry configured for obtaining geometrical information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more persistent conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more transient conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

circuitry configured for selecting content for display at least partly in response to recognition of one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly.

27. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for obtaining radius information associated with the one or more conformations of the one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises:

circuitry configured for obtaining radius information associated with the one or more conformations of the one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly based on a strain information derived from communication between an intra-e-paper-assembly and an extra-e-paper assembly.

30. The system of claim 1, wherein the circuitry configured for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value comprises:

processing the obtained radius information to determine whether the obtained radius information is indicative of at least one predetermined value.

31. The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one electronic paper assembly comprises a flexible display for a computing device.

28. A method at least partly implemented using one or more processing components, the method comprising:

obtaining radius information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly;

processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including at least determining whether the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value; and

selecting content for display at least partly in response to the radius information and at least partly in response to the processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value.

29. A computer program product comprising:

one or more non-transitory media including at least;

one or more instructions for obtaining radius information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly;

one or more instructions for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly including at least one or more instructions for determining whether the information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of the at least one electronic paper assembly is indicative of at least one predetermined value; and

one or more instructions for selecting content for display at least partly in response to the radius information and at least partly in response to the one or more instructions for processing information associated with one or more conformations of one or more portions of at least one electronic paper assembly determining that the information is indicative of at least one predetermined value.
