Abstract
A method in a computing device for generating a composite document includes receiving drawing data from a user interface, where the drawing data includes a plurality of two-dimensional shapes, and generating a first data structure that includes the received drawing data. The method further includes receiving a reference to a geographic location from the user interface and, in response to receiving the reference to the geographic location, retrieving photograph data corresponding to the received reference, where the photograph data includes at least one of satellite image data and aerial image data for the geographic location.

13. A tangible non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions thereon to implement a composite document system, wherein the instructions, when executed on a processor, cause the processor to:
-
receive model data that describes a three-dimensional model of an object, wherein the model data conforms to a non-image format; generate a first composite document entity that includes the model data; receive clipboard data from a clipboard of an operating system; parse the clipboard data to determine whether the clipboard data contains text interpretable as geographic reference data, wherein the geographic reference data is at least one of a geographic coordinate, a street address, and a postal code; if it is determined that the clipboard data contains the text interpretable as geographic reference data, cause a dialogue to be displayed on a user interface to confirm whether the text is to be interpreted as a reference to a geographic location; receive photograph data that corresponds to the reference to the geographic location, wherein the photograph data includes at least one of satellite image data and aerial image data of the geographic location; generate a second composite document entity that includes the photograph data and the reference to the geographic location; generate a composite document including a plurality of presentation slides, the composite document further including the first composite document entity and the second composite document entity in one or more slides of the plurality of presentation slides; interpret the model data to generate a visual representation of the three-dimensional model; generate a visual representation of the second composite document entity; display the composite document, wherein the visual representation of the three-dimensional model data in the first composite document entity is displayed in a first container and the visual representation of the second composite document entity is displayed in a second container; receive dynamic data; update the dynamic data in the second composite document entity in real-time, while in a presentation mode; and display the updated dynamic data in the one or more slides of the plurality of presentation slides. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17)
