1. A method for receiving a reference signal in a multi-antenna system, the method comprising:

  • receiving a synchronization signal in a subframe, the subframe including a plurality of resource blocks (RBs) and a plurality of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols;

    receiving a reference signal in the subframe; and

    determining a number of RBs included in one Precoding Resource block Group (PRG) based on a size of a total system bandwidth,wherein a number of RBs of the total system bandwidth is N,wherein N is a natural number,wherein the RBs included in the PRG include information to which same precoding is applied,wherein the synchronization signal includes a Primary Synchronized Signal (PSS) and a Secondary Synchronized Signal (SSS),wherein the PSS is received in a first OFDM symbol among the plurality of OFDM symbols,wherein the SSS is received in a second OFDM symbol among the plurality of OFDM symbols,wherein a cell identifier is acquired based on the PSS and the SSS,wherein the synchronization signal is received in center x RBs among the plurality of RBs,wherein x is natural number less than or equal to N,wherein the reference signal is received through a plurality of PRGs including the center x RBs in at least one OFDM symbol among the plurality of OFDM symbols other than the first and second OFDM symbols,wherein when a value of N mod 2 and a value of x mod 2 are different, the reference signal is received in a frequency area corresponding to a center (x+1) RB,wherein when the value of N mod 2 and the value of x mod 2 are same, the reference signal is received in a frequency area corresponding to a center x RB, andwherein if N is an odd number, the reference signal is received through an odd number of the plurality of PRGs and if N is an even number, the reference signal is received through an even number of the plurality of PRGs.
