1. A device comprising:

  • a support;

    a first electrode connected to the support;

    a second electrode connected to the support; and

    a control circuit for controlling current flow, wherein the control circuit is secured to the support and wherein the first electrode is electrically coupled to the control circuit at a first input and the second electrode is electrically coupled to the control circuit at a second input;

    a backing layer having a first side;

    a release layer having a first side and a second side, wherein the release layer is laminated on the backing layer, and wherein the second side of the release layer contacts the first side of the backing layer;

    a metallic layer having a first side and a second side, wherein the metallic layer is positioned on the first side of the release layer, and wherein the first electrode contacts the second side of the metallic layer;

    wherein the backing layer and the release layer are configured to be removed to provide an exposed surface of the metallic layer;

    wherein the exposed surface of the metallic layer is configured to be positioned over the control circuit and the support such that the metallic layer is electrically coupled to the control circuit at the first input and the first electrode is electrically coupled to the control circuit at a first input.
