A method of treating or reducing the risk of anaemia in a human haemodialysis patient, the method comprising administering a trap, an antibody or an antibody fragment that binds specifically to BMP6 to the human haemodialysis patient,wherein the trap, antibody or antibody fragment comprises a human kappa chain constant region comprising a Val at position 84 shown in SEQ ID NO:
