1. A polymeric ammunition comprising:

  • a substantially cylindrical insert comprisinga top surface opposite a bottom surface and a substantially cylindrical coupling element that extends from the bottom surface,a primer recess in the top surface that extends toward the bottom surface,a primer flash hole aperture positioned in the primer recess to extend through the bottom surface, anda flange that extends circumferentially about an outer edge of the top surface;

    a substantially cylindrical polymeric middle body comprisinga substantially cylindrical polymeric bullet-end opposite a substantially cylindrical polymeric coupling end to form a powder chamber, wherein the substantially cylindrical polymeric coupling end extends over the substantially cylindrical coupling element and into the primer flash hole aperture to form a primer flash hole;

    a substantially cylindrical polymeric bullet-end component comprising a middle body connection end connected to the substantially cylindrical polymeric bullet-end and opposite a bullet-end aperture;

    a propellant at least partially filling the powder chamber;

    a primer inserted into the primer recess; and

    a bullet frictionally fitted in the bullet-end aperture.
