1. An introducer member comprising:

  • a body having a proximal portion and a distal portion, the proximal portion including an outer layer and an inner layer which collectively define a cavity, the proximal portion defining a hollow which is configured to receive a portion of an end effector, the body defining a passage which is in fluid communication with the cavity, and a port supported on the body, the port being configured to facilitate inflation of the cavity, wherein prior to inflation of the cavity the hollow defines a transverse dimension that is smaller than the transverse dimension defined by the component of the end effector to which the introducer member is to be attached.
