1. An acoustic module, comprising:
- an acoustic element;
a cavity acoustically coupled to the acoustic element;
a first conductive element configured to generate a first surface charge on a first region of an interior surface of the cavity; and
a second conductive element configured to generate a second surface charge on a second region of the interior surface of the cavity,wherein the first and second charge on the first and second regions of the interior surfaces of the cavity may be selectively applied to facilitate movement of a liquid held within the cavity.

Abstract
A device having one or more an acoustic modules. The acoustic module includes an acoustic element and a cavity that is acoustically coupled to the acoustic element. The module also includes a first conductive element that is configured to generate a first surface charge on a first region of an interior surface of the cavity. A second conductive element is configured to generate a second surface charge on a second region of the interior surface of the cavity. The first and second charge on the first and second regions of the interior surfaces of the cavity may be selectively applied to facilitate movement of a liquid held within the cavity.

16. An acoustic module, comprising:
-
a housing defining an acoustic port; an acoustic element coupled to the acoustic port by an acoustic cavity; and an array of conductive elements configured to generate a localized surface charge within the acoustic cavity, wherein the array of conductive elements are configured to selectively apply the localized surface charge resulting in a change in the hydrophobicity of a respective region of the interior of the surface of the cavity, and the change in hydrophobicity induces movement of the liquid along the interior surface of the cavity. - View Dependent Claims (17, 18, 19, 20)
